"Augmented Reality" sounds particularly tempting among all the digital terms... It's awesome to see here, at the Georg Kolbe Museum in Berlin, a group of actors who never see what we experience thanks to additional graphics, pictures and sketches. How exactly the real bodies fit into a graphically designed landscape, sometimes a Bauhaus kitchen, sometimes the Israeli memorial Yad Vashem: "That makes any stage design completely superfluous."

"The houses of the Dessau Bauhaus masters can of course always be visited. But those who have the chance should visit them together with Nico and the Navigators... an imaginative and thanks to the glasses also fantastic journey through the Bauhaus history... A treat for Bauhaus and technology fans".
Steffen Lipsch, 13.09.2019
""Betrayal of Images" is no tribute to the Bauhaus, no bow to Gropius and the other teachers who call themselves "masters" and who are often casually quoted in the piece... Getrud Grunow and Karla Grosch are the ones who settle the score with the machos in Muche's house, who behaved so progressively, but then preferred to remain with the role models they were so familiar with."
Thomas Steinberg, 12.09.2019
"Thanks to elaborately programmed AR glasses, the time travel is not only textually grounded and fabulously played, [...] but also reinforced in its effect by amazing virtual effects of "Augmented Reality"... A kaleidoscope that gives a conclusive impression of the diversity of the Bauhaus fits in with this intelligent, educational time travel."

"... there he is suddenly, the escape from indifference, the dance of death and the frenzy of life, this ambivalence, the urgency and inevitability, the passion and the tears ... The bittersweet sting is in place."
Jakob Bauer, 25.04.2019
"The elements do not stand for themselves; music, dance and theatre form a harmonious whole. The Navigators interpret the supposedly gloomy theme surprisingly freshly... Not everything is heavy and sad, rather all facets of death are depicted: Comedy, sadness, rage or melodrama. One is released into the night calmly and thoughtfully, refreshed by this life-affirming dance of death."
Elias Pietsch, 27.04.2019
"Der Theaterraum hat Wände, das Spiel kennt keine Grenzen. Nicht in der Zeit. Nicht im Raum. Nicht geographisch. Nicht kulturell. Nicht national. Ethnisch oder religiös sowieso nicht."
Petra Castell, 29.04.2019
"luring depth...heavy-blooded and at the same time very cheerful... in search of the exhilaration, the simple and the complicated, after a desert night or a spiritual inspiration... It is always the sensitive and the seekers who entrust themselves to the drug... But the drug can be many things. And so "Heaven in Pity" seems more mature than you might expect, smarter. And is strangely beautiful...The intoxication is a longing along the edge of a deep darkness."
Egbert Tholl, 25.11.2018
"The widened gaze...The onion, skinned, exposes a shaken core...But that's exactly what they want: to be caught in their deeply private messages...It's not by accident. It serves to widen the view into the mirror and onto the outside world. Not the worst prerequisite for continuing to make such an extraordinary musical theatre."
Jürgen Otten, December 2018
"...in their own characteristic handwriting of improvisation, eloquent body language, strong images... a multi-faceted, also self-ironic confrontation with their own artistic history and simultaneously a reflection about time... The long-lasting applause is interspersed with many bravos. The beginning of at least the next 20 years couldn't be more successful". O-Ton
