learned his skills with Malte Burba and Mike Svoboda. As a trumpeter, he is particularly dedicated to contemporary music, with performances at the most important festivals for new music. His work also includes intensive collaboration with composers of his generation to realise new works for a wide range of (brass) instruments and the exploration of new sounds – acoustic, thematic and social – in his own compositions. Paul Hübner has won prizes at various national and international competitions and was a scholarship holder at the International Ensemble Modern Academy and at the Cité des Arts in Paris.
